Thursday, Dec 20, 2018, 8:00 AM - Friday, Dec 21, 2018, 5:00 PM EST
Donna Shalala Student Center
University of Miami
1330 Miller Drive
Miami FL 33146

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Symposium on Pathomechanisms of Amyloid Diseases from December 20-21, 2018 in Miami, FL, United States.

The purpose of this two day meeting is to bring established investigators and junior researchers together to expand this exciting field. Attendance will be limited, making it an ideal setting for discussion and learning.

The scientific program will consist of lectures from the top international experts in the field as well as in-depth discussions during the informal sessions. Our aim is to summarize what is scientifically known, learn about the cutting-edge research and to create a forum where junior trainees can meet and network with established investigators.

The topics include

  • Pathology of amyloid aggregation

  • Structural, dynamics and kinetics of folding and misfolding of amyloid proteins

  • Amyloid inhibitors

  • In-vivo studies on amyloids

  • New approaches to study amyloid proteins

Key reasons to participate

  • Discover the late-breaking and cutting edge science which will be presented during the scientific sessions

  • Participate in scientific discussions

  • Attend state-of-the-art lectures by world experts in the fields

  • Network with other colleagues in the field

Thank you and we look forward to meeting you in Miami in December.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Varan Govind (University of Miami)

Ayyalusamy (Rams) Ramamoorthy (University of Michigan)
