Will the abstracts be published in a journal? Should I present published or unpublished work?

The symposium abstract booklets will be exclusively for the use of participants, and we do not intend to publish these abstracts in any journal. So, we do not think that an abstract included in a conference proceeding or abstract booklet will impede future publication of your presentation in a journal.  If you would like to describe the method or results of your unpublished work in vague terms that is fine with us. We encourage speakers and poster presenters to talk about their recent unpublished work because published work is already known to most participants.
